Alspi, also known as CelWP G15, is an oblate O-type star in the Arcus Nebula. Its one of the few catalogued stars in the nebula to not reside in any major cluster in the region, and due to its high mass, its unable to host a planetary system. Alspi is also one of the fastest-spinning known main sequence stars in Triangulum.

At a temperature of 42900 K, and a mass of 46.215 solar masses, Alspi is one of the hottest and most massive field stars in the Arcus Nebula, given its a O4V main-sequence star. As a result, its also hosting outrageously powerful stellar winds, and its luminosity of nearly 20,000 L_Sun stripped away all material needed to form a planetary system. Combined with its high rotation speed, giving its oblate shape that the star is known for, Alspi is also one of the weirdest stars in the region. It also has a distinct lack of granules, which is unusual for such a large star. Instead, Alspi hosts swirly plasma currents all over its surface.
