Clodar, also known as Cracca b, CelWP M6 b, or WD 23.29873765+30.38914896 c, is the outermost and largest planet orbiting the DZ-type white dwarf Cracca. Clodar is in the transition zone between super-earths and mini-neptunes, as shown by its extremely hard to reach surface, and was added in Release 8.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Clodar is a stormy planet, with high winds on the cloudtops approaching half the speed of sound and very contrasting bands on the clouds. Clodar is a dark blue and light gray planet, and is orbited by an expansive set of rings and a few shepherd moons (unreleased). Clodar is orbiting at a distance where its equilibrium temperature would be approximately 45 K, but it is still warm from Cracca's red giant days, and will have a terraformable moon around it in the future. Clodar is approximately 8 earth masses, or around 1/6 of Neptune's mass. Clodar's radius is 2.13 earth radii, which makes it a very non-dense planet, considering its large core. What is that core made of? bubble wrap?

History[edit | edit source]

Before Cracca became a red giant, it was an F-type main sequence star, and Clodar was in its habitable zone. the Pron originally came from a moon of this planet, before Cracca's red giant days, when they escaped to a nearby system. However, after Cracca collapsed into a white dwarf and expelled the Bubble Nebula, A significant fraction of the Pron returned to the system, found that their original homeworld had cooled to the point where it would be unterraformable (with their level of technology at the time), and colonized the nearby Proxa. They also found that almost all of Clodar's hydrogen was gone, making it a rather unique Helium planet.

The Pron's technology has ascended to the point where terraforming their original homeworld is now possible and they are now making plans to begin.
