Categories

Almost all CelWP articles are categorized by creator. For astronomical objects, this refers to the person who created the object in Celestia. All astronomical objects in CelWP are categorized by the type of object, e.g. stars, planets, etc. These categories can be found in Category:Astronomical objects. The additional categories Real objects and Worlds with life should be used where appropriate.

There are also categories for locations, also categorized by type. These categories can exist for anything from a galaxy to a single star system or planet, but should only be created if there are a large number of articles related to that region of space. Only the most specific category should be used - for example, an object in the Evolutionary Cross should only be in that category and not Category:Triangulum Galaxy.

List articles are in Category:Lists, as well as other categories if appropriate. Categories for species and civilizations also exist, but these aren't currently used...

Licensing

All text on the CelWP wiki is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Images may or may not be under this license, since CelWP content creators may want their work to have a different license, and some CelWP content was originally created for unrelated Celestia addons (e.g. Cham's nebulae). Check with the creator/uploader if you want to use an image.

• To link to another Miraheze wiki, use the prefix mh: followed by the name of the wiki. [[mh:allthetropes:Wiki Walk|Wiki Walk]] produces Wiki Walk.
• To link to a FANDOM wiki, use the prefix wikia: followed by the name of the wiki. [[wikia:memory-alpha:USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D)|USS Enterprise]] produces USS Enterprise.
