Palsa, also known as Etra c, CelWP M2 c, or WI 135643 c is the smallest and last planet around the neutron star Etra. It is a small, hot rocky planet and was added in Release 7.
Physical Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Palsa is a super-mercury, a planet similar in composition to mercury, but larger. It has no atmosphere, so it is pockmarked with craters. Palsa is a mostly uniform dark gray color, possibly with a slight bluish tint, with no contrastive albedo features. Palsa, with a mass of just 0.1 earth masses, and orbiting far interior to the habitable zone, and around a freaking PULSAR, is an extremely unlikely terraforming candidate.
History[edit | edit source]
During the colonization and terraforming of Taminar, some spacecraft left the system in search of more resources. One of the survey craft, the Spacetrotter-14, flew by Palsa and recorded significant amounts of heavy metals in the mapped area. A large mining colony was later built, and here we are today.
Biomes[edit | edit source]
Palsa has 6 biomes:
- Lowlands
- Midlands
- Highlands
- Major Craters
- Minor Craters
- Mining Sites
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Palsa was actually built before Bura and was originally planned to be the only planet in the system.
- Palsa was originally at 1/10th the distance it is currently, but then it was hotter than the surface of the sun, which is not tenable.
